
Biography
David Diamante is an award-winning ring announcer, sports announcer, TV host, podcaster and actor.
David is an inductee to the New York State Boxing Hall of Fame, a recipient of the BWAA Marvin Kohn Good Guy Award and was recognized as "The Voice of Worldwide Boxing" by the Ring 8 Veterans Boxing Association.
David has announced professional boxing, MMA, and Muay Thai internationally for over twenty years. He is the official announcer for Matchroom Boxing. David has announced for HBO, Showtime, ESPN, Sky Sports, DAZN, CBS Sports, NBC Sports, FOX Sports, World Boxing Super Series, Spike TV, YES Network, SNY, and MSG. In addition, David has announced in Spanish on Televisa, TyC and Azteca America.
David plays himself in Creed 3, the major motion picture Southpaw, the new Hulu series La Máquina and has appeared in the films: Sunnyside, Irish Ropes, Counterpunch, Back in the Day, Born Into This, Senior Moment, Night of Henna, Out of the Ring, Ringside, Catch the Fair One, Gotti: Godfather and Son, Ring of Faith, and Hardy.
David currently hosts the podcast Matchroom Radio with David Diamante.
David Diamante served as the official voice of the NBA's Brooklyn Nets, New Jersey Nets and Barclays Center for six seasons. David announced for the 2016 NBA All-Star Weekend and several NCAA games and tournaments.
From 2012-2013 David hosted the NBC Sports Network's daily national morning television program, The 'Lights.
David is the owner and founder of Diamante's Brooklyn Cigar Lounge which opened in 2009 and features his own line of premium hand-rolled cigars.
